Blagdon Church and Marquee Wedding Photos – Bridget and George

George and Bridget’s wedding, the day that could have been. Could have been wet!! We had SUCH bad weather forecast and they were SO wrong! Thankfully! Today’s post is a bumper post as there were two of us, I had my awesome husband Martin along with me as Bridget and George wanted the extra coverage, plus coverage until the end of the night, so brace yourselves, there’s a lot :D

The whole day was in Blagdon, a village just outside of Bristol, where they live in this gorgeous house with the most incredible view. This is where Bridget got ready and where the marquee for their reception was. I always think it must be amazing to get married where you live as your home then takes on something extra special. George was just up the road getting ready and then went to the local pub in Blagdon opposite the church they then got married in. It’s a great little church, it’s so pretty and surprisingly spacious, which was ideal as there were two of us but also two videographers. After the wedding we stopped by a tiny village called Rickford for a quick photo before heading back home to the marquee, it was around then that we did have a little rain, but then it stopped and stayed away completely giving away to so much sunshine and stunning skies. Bridget and George obviously have so much fun together, all day they just couldn’t stop grinning at each other and laughing. My highlight (and I think one of theirs) was their amazing band Mister Kanish who I highly recommend! Here are some of my favourites from their day:
