Fiona and Richard – Bristol Winter reportage wedding photographer

In February I found myself back at Old Down Manor for another winter wedding. Fiona and Richard first got married at Henleaze Trinity United Reformed Church. At their request I was not to photograph any of the ceremony but it was so lovely to be there to capture their arrival and all at the Church, they had their band from their regular Church back home to play before, during and after the ceremony who were awesome! Everyone was so welcoming it felt particularly special. After the ceremony we went back inside the main Church to take a few of Fiona and Richard alone, it’s always fun to be able to get some more relaxed shots inside a Church.

The weather was not that kind to us, giving us mostly showers and drizzle so when we arrived at Old Down Manor we went straight upstairs to capture some shots indoors away from everyone as the guests arrived while Fiona’s brother played the piano below. It wasn’t long before it was time to say hello to all of their friends and family before sitting down to the meal and speeches. Once the evening started they had a ceilidh and their first dance was a part of this, with 4 other friends, it really kicked off the evening and everyone got stuck in! Here are some of my favourite moments from their day:
