Foxhill Manor and Broadway Church wedding Photographs – Imogen and Chris

It was so great to be back at the lovely Foxhill Manor recently for the wedding of Imogen and Chris. A fairly new wedding venue that I first shot at last year and it was great to be back at this stunning yet laid back manor house.

I started my day at St. Eadburgha’s Church which is a gorgeous little church on the edge of Broadway and the vicar there is possibly the nicest vicar I have ever worked with, I’d like to take her to every wedding I photograph :) In her own words she describes herself as ‘a bit like the vicar of Dibley’, awesome! She is into photography herself so keen for the couple to have some good shots (although recently had a bad experience with a photographer which made her question her approach but said I had totally redeemed all photographers :D you are welcome future photographers that shoot there haha) Imogen and Chris were full of smiles through the whole ceremony and everything felt warm and lovely, partly because of the vicar and partly because of the gorgeous yellowy stone from inside the church which was shinning in the sun.

After the ceremony we headed up to the equally warm stoned building of Foxhill Manor for their reception. Everyone got to enjoy the views out on the terrace while we headed off for a short time for some photos. Later in the day we were treated to some lovely evening sun and Imogen, after seeing a shot I did there last year with these awesome tall trees they have on the long road in, wanted to make the short hike (I jest, but the road is quite steep) back up there, which in my opinion was well worth it. The trees look so cool but also we got some of the tasty evening sun peaking through the trees giving us little jewels of orange. Shortly after it was time for their brilliant band to play which was just in time as everyone was up for some dancing immediately. Here are some of my favourites from their day:
