Ragley Hall Wedding Photos – Anna and James

I’d been looking forward to Anna and James’ wedding for a while since I spent an evening with them and their dogs for their engagement shoot. They are so lovely and easy to be around that I knew I would enjoy being around their family and friends too and I was right. They got married at Saint Benet’s Catholic Church in the little village of Kemerton in Worcestershire and then had their reception at the stunning Ragley Hall.

I started my day with Anna getting ready at James’ Mum’s house with all her bridesmaids around her, it was a very laid back morning. James popped by for a few photos in the garden before he left for church being careful not to catch a glimpse of Anna. Soon after it was time for Anna to get into her dress before being taken to the church in a lovely borrowed Jag. I could tell how important the Catholic ceremony was to the family so this was lovely to see everyone taking part. What was evening lovelier was to see their faces as they exited the church though to be greeted by their dogs :D The dogs were just there for that part of the day but they looked like they enjoyed it, in their bow ties, especially dragging Anna and James at a fair speed through the confetti :)

After this I drove straight to a pre arranged location for a surprise for Anna. A horse and carriage to take them up to Ragley Hall. Anna had absolutely no idea and as they drove near Anna even pointed out that someone else was getting married as there was a horse and carriage for the couple, not even realising as they turned into where it was that it was for her :) Surprise success!! The horse and carriage took them up to Ragley Hall where  all their guests were waiting for them on the steps all just as surprised. We took a few photos with the horses outside Ragley Hall before they left and then sneaked off for a few couple photos in the grounds (while singing a little of the Frozen soundtrack) before they joined their guests for a while before the meal. Then, inside the impressive hall they had their hilarious speeches before the meal and it was then time for everyone to relax a bit more. The rest of the evening was in the same hall once they had turned it around, and it was time for their band to start. Everyone was up for some dancing immediately which I love! And the band were great so why not :) Here are some of my favourites from their day:

I took this one from my car with one hand as I passed them on the driveway, ha :)

This is where James pointed out that Anna was the horse person really :D
